Apply only the checks relevant to the agreed scope. Record each as verified, failed, untested or blocked, with evidence.

Website experience

  • The first screen explains the offer and primary action.
  • The pages contain confirmed facts; placeholders are visibly marked.
  • Navigation, links and action buttons reach their intended destinations.
  • Phone and desktop layouts remain readable without accidental overflow.
  • Menus and controls work with the supported input methods.
  • Labels, focus, contrast, image descriptions and error feedback have been reviewed.
  • Images load appropriately and motion respects reduced-motion settings.
  • The main visitor journey has been exercised against the actual implementation.

Connected business actions

  • Forms validate input and explain errors.
  • Submission delivery has been checked at the configured destination, or explicitly remains unverified.
  • Scheduling or purchase steps have been checked using an authorized test mode where available.
  • External steps that could not be tested are listed separately.
  • No fabricated reviews, qualifications, inventory, availability or customer outcomes appear as facts.

Search and publication

  • Page titles, headings, links and relevant location/service information are accurate.
  • Indexing and public-site settings are checked only where accessible.
  • The owner has authorized publication when publication is in scope.
  • A claimed live site has been opened at its actual public address.
  • A preview has not been described as a launch.

Handoff

Provide the actual site or file location, completed checks, remaining owner actions and short editing instructions. Explain recurring costs only when verified; do not invent pricing.

If the environment cannot build, browse or publish, deliver the content or usable files it can produce and identify the unexecuted steps. A checklist or generated test plan is not evidence of a passing test.
